New Technician added to the Turbos RV Family

New Technician added to the Turbos RV Family

Here at Turbos, We are happy to introduce Kory Coleman as a New Technician added to the Turbos RV Family. After sifting through many resumes and performing several interviews, Kory stood apart from the rest.

Kory, his wife, and his four year old son Noah very recently moved to Colorado from New York. The timing worked out perfectly and he thought Colorado would provide him and his family great opportunities. As a member of the National Guard, Kory has training in aviation, and has prior knowledge of electrical systems. Though these skills aligned well with what Turbos was looking for, it was his eagerness to learn and master the world of RVs that appealed to Turbos the most.

As a direct apprentice to Eric, he will be provided thorough hands on training. Kory has also expressed enthusiasm to begin the RV master certification classes. With an aptitude for learning and a great mentor like Eric, Turbos has high hopes for his success.

The Very Definition of Dedication

The Very Definition of Dedication:

As the owner, Eric dedicates the vast majority of his time investing in his company to ensure Turbo’s RV reflects the highest quality and standards he strives for in every aspect of his life. By the very definition, dedication means:

“a feeling of very strong support for or loyalty to someone or something : the quality or state of being dedicated to a person, group, cause, etc.” [http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/dedication]

Anyone who has witnessed Eric and his family’s involvement in Turbos RV would agree this definition fits the bill!

 The Very Definition of Dedication

For over 15 years, through employees who have come and go, and through all the joys of economic change, Turbos RV has thrived. Amid all the changes, one thing has remained consistent: Eric’s dedication to his company and to his customers. None of this would be possible without the support of his wife and two kids. Many late nights and weekends worked (including his own birthday) is the common love, support, and goals of the Vandenhoek family that makes Turbos RV a company the entire community is proud of.

Sunshine at Turbos Mobile RV

Sunshine at Turbos Mobile RV

Sunshine at Turbos RV

Finally, a break in the rain creates plenty of sunshine at Turbos Mobile RV. While we are grateful for all of the rain (and the opportunity to repair some of the newly discovered roof leaks on our customer’s RVs), I’m sure we are with the rest of you when we say that we are ready for the sunshine!

This beautiful weather allows our technicians to make many repairs mobile. On dry flat ground, we can perform those wheel bearing packs on your trailer. If there is water available, we can pressurize your system to troubleshoot any water leaks you might have. With a generator or electric outlet, we can check your power and charging systems. Not to mention we are available to address any awning repair needs you may have, any fridge issues you may be experiencing, any solar panel or satellite upgrades you may be interested in, or any appliance or RV services you might wish for.

We pride ourselves on maintaining excellent relations with our customers and ensuring a tight knit qualified team here. While those standards will never change, and are undeniably the foundation that makes for good for business, it also results in an incredibly busy schedule. While we strive to address each of our customer’s concerns in a timely manner we appreciate your patience with our dispatcher throughout the scheduling process. Calling in advance is greatly appreciated and though we understand urgent services arise we treat each customer with the same level of priority. We need to ensure there is proper time for the technicians to resolve the issues and this means proper scheduling. We promise to not forgo any quality in our service, and appreciate your understanding in the time parameters of our calendar.

Quality Technician Joins Our Team at Turbo’s RV

Quality Technician Joins Our Team at Turbo’s RV

We are happy to introduce our customers to the newest member of our team, Mr. James Lyon. James has 9 years of experience in the automotive world and has chosen to leave that path in order to pursue a career in the RV Repair world. Not only is James a quick learner and understands the importance of quality work, he is a genuine guy with a character that aligns with what Turbo’s strives to represent.

Under Eric the owners guidance, within his first week, James has already performed several roof inspections, roof clean and reseals, worked to diagnosis electrical issues: including inverter malfunctions, lost ground wires, fuse replacements, he has pressurized water systems to begin checking for leaks, and has replaced both chassis and coach batteries, among many other miscellaneous tasks.

There is no doubt that with a little time and instruction James is sure to become an expert tech in no time. With his help, Turbo’s Mobile RV is in a better position to ensure we are scheduling promptly while keeping our standards exceptional. Be sure to wave if you see him driving our mobile service sprinter, and as always don’t hesitate to contact us with any RV Concerns!

We wonder why…

Why is it that we see a “run” of the same issues within weeks of each other.. This week it’s hydronic upgrades to fifth wheels… Must have been a cold winter here….. Working on two projects to convert forced air to hydronic heating with continuous hot water supply….

OMG, a few nice days and things get CRAZY….

Status

It always surprised me how a few amazingly warm days triggers spring fever… Remember, if your thinking about purchasing or selling an RV – drop us a line.. We have both sellers and buyers contacting us to list their ‘For Sale’s and ‘Wanted’s. We just added a ’07 Freelander 3150SS with 47,469 miles… To save yourself in the future, Turbo’s recommends a pre-purchase inspection!!
